History
The Rhodian ceramic industry “NASSOS” still runs up to this day since 1964.
Nassos Mylonas was born in 1929 and his legacy starts from “ICAROS” factory where he was the managing director for many years and taught this rhodian art. Since he loved his homeland so much he wanted to make sure that the tradition of ceramics will be kept alive through the years and generations. Every single piece of ceramic is a piece of history.
In 1964 he opens his first factory in “Paradisi”. In 1971 he extends its operations with 180 employees. Opening the second factory in “Keramiko, Rodini” and later on, in 1972, the third one, in “Faliraki”. His artefacts still impress all the visitors of Rhodes with their traditional look. Soon he creates a collection with the history of the knights of Rhodes and the symbols of Dodecanese (which he legally fortifies for 70 years captured on ceramic).

It is worth mentioning, that modern patterns with traditional twist are still being made by his son in law and his granddaughters, keeping alive his legacy.
